Pickleball Club Plans New Facility At Shopping Center In Northern Westchester

Those who have taken up America's fastest-growing sport will soon be able to make use of a new facility at a Northern Westchester shopping center.

Sportime Pickleball is set to open a 30,000-square-foot pickleball center in the Yorktown Green Shopping Center on Downing Drive in Fall 2025. 

The state-of-the-art facility will consist of 12 indoor pickleball courts, two party rooms, a lounge, and a pro shop. It will offer court rentals, level-rated open play sessions, group and private instruction and clinics, tournaments, and even a junior academy for young pickleball players.

"We are excited to bring a state-of-the-art, dedicated pickleball facility to the Yorktown Heights community," said Sportime CEO Claude Okin, who continued, "We know that local interest in the sport is already robust in the Yorktown area. Our new center will offer players of all levels a convenient way to learn and play pickleball at a beautiful facility in a convenient and popular location."

In addition to the Yorktown facility, Sportime also plans to open one in Armonk at 100 Business Park Dr. also set to open in Fall 2025. 

The company will begin hiring for the Yorktown location in the spring of 2025.
